How it all began

This blog started as a passion project.

It was a way to calm my busy mind, a quiet corner to make sense of both chaos and order. Yep, they can exist at the same time (at least in my world).

Somewhere between the mess and the routines, writing helped me process it all.

Back then, I was trying to be the best at everything: wife, mumma, daughter, sister, friend, employee. And to be completely honest, I wanted to be my best self in every role, for every person, in every part of my life.

Enough was never in my vocabulary. I had to give more. Do more. Be more. All of it. All at once. All the time.

But here’s the truth:

I’m human. I have limits. And I have seasons.
I can’t be all things to all people. And I don’t need to be.

I know that now.

Choosing to live more intentionally is what led me to who I am today.

There’s still more to learn there always will be. My life will continue to evolve and shift. But I’m no longer chasing perfection or trying to meet impossible expectations especially the ones I used to place on myself.

These days, I feel more at ease. I’m content with what I have and grateful for who I get to share life with.

This blog is a space to reflect, share what I’m learning, and maybe connect with someone else who’s been carrying too much for too long.

If that “SOMEONE” is you.

Let’s meet where you’re at.

Hey there,

My name is E.

I’m a wife, mumma, friend, blogger and a part-time professional.

I manage everything (life and side-gig) using Notion and Bullet Journal.

My heart beats for intentional living and I’m passionate about sharing wisdom and lessons as I live a purposeful life one week at a time.

Thank you for being here.

Here’s what I live by now, and what this blog reflects.

Presence matters.
I value attention, and I’d rather be fully here than being everywhere.

I prioritise my health.
There’s only one me, and I have one life to live.

I trust timing.
Life events, regardless of how we perceive them, happen at the right time, not always when we choose.
They happen for us.
And there’s a reason I’m sharing this manifesto five years after setting up this blog.

Caring for my family is not a distraction.
Family is the core of my purpose. I do what I do because of them and for them.

Alignment is important.
I practice intentional productivity so I can create with purpose.
What I do, why I do it, and how I do it are connected, and aligned most of the time.
I create from a spacious and intentional place, where my work fits the life I’m living in the season I’m in, not the other way around.
My creations serve my values, support my life, and give meaning to my purpose.

I trust myself to make the right decisions.
I make conscious choices based on what I know, what I have, and who I’m with.
I keep lessons from my mistakes, adjust without guilt, and pause without explanation.
Most importantly, I choose to finish with “just enough for now”, even when more is possible.

I only keep what I can sustain.
I don’t chase people who don’t choose me. I nurture those who are already here.
I started with a grateful heart, and I’m keeping the same heart, only bigger and wiser.

Intentional living always starts with awareness.
I pay attention to what my body tells me, and make sense of what’s happening in and around me.
I choose an intentional lifestyle with quiet luxury, so I can live a life that feels deeply satisfying and meaningful.
